Growing up I always had the basic necessities and I didn’t ask for much, so I didn’t feel the weight of the financial lack often present. I wore clothes from thrift stores before it was hip or green. My mother cleaned homes and my father drove a cab before they both established secure careers with comfortable paychecks. Materialistic wealth is wonderful but not necessary for well-being or happiness. Your physical and emotional health is necessary, however. Whether it is learning self-care practices that reduce your body’s stress levels or seeing someone for emotional support, these investments give you the biggest bang for your buck. If you have injuries, trauma, body unawareness, anxiety, or just want more individualized attention, consider private yoga, bodywork or meditation sessions. I believe yoga and healing should be affordable for all, so I provide sessions on a sliding scale. If cost is an issue, we can make it work; payment plans are available when truly needed. I believe that we can always make it work without you needing to choose between buying groceries or seeing me for sessions. If a hectic schedule is an issue, we can also make it work.
Invest in yourself or a loved one. You are worth your time and effort.
